OUR FOUNDER

ELIZABETH LIAU

Elizabeth Liau is the creative spirit behind Maison de L’Asie. Born in Singapore with Shanghainese, Malay, and Dutch Indonesian heritage, her life has been a tapestry of cultures woven across continents. Inspired by her grandfather, her passion for cinema, music, and art has shaped her journey as a global citizen.

Returning to Asia deepened her appreciation for its beauty and traditions. Perfumery became her medium for storytelling, blending her love for scent with the artistry of French perfumery. She saw fragrance as a way to evoke memories, emotions, and moments in time, creating invisible threads that connect past and present.

This fusion of emotion and craftsmanship became the foundation of Maison de L’Asie—a house where every scent tells a story.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

EVERY PERFUME IS A MOVIE

We see our fragrances as a cinematic journey through an unexpected Asia. Each collection is a chapter, each bottle tells a story, and each note plays its role. To choose your fragrance is to step into an epic, evolving narrative of emotion, memory, and discovery.

FRAGRANCES THAT PERFORM

SCENTS THAT LAST AND  MAKE A STATEMENT

We believe in giving the quality our customers deserve.

Our perfume oils surpass the quality of most brands in the market and are crafted by master artisans in Grasse,  France using a harmonious blend of the finest botanicals and sustainable, lab-crafted synthetics for depth and longevity.

Maison de L’Asie fragrances are crafted at an extrait concentration of 35%,
yet they are intentionally composed not to overwhelm or announce themselves in a loud, heady manner.

Instead of projecting sharply into the air like many high-strength perfumes, the scent unfolds with quiet refinement — melting into the warmth of the skin, evolving gradually and intimately over time. Notes reveal themselves in soft layers, revealing depth, texture, and nuance, creating a personal aura rather than a cloud.

It is fragrance as presence — subtle, sophisticated, and beautifully alive on the skin.
